XMUSEUM in Shanghai. XMUSEUM connects artists from around the world and hosts both on-site and virtual exhibitions. Therefore, the branding had to represent both the on-site and virtual exhibition. The upper and lower part of the logo represent the on-site and virtual exhibition, respectively. Editorial, 2020 This typebook specimen utilizes Caslon typeface to illustrate the poem “O Captain! My Captain!” by Walt Whitman. The poem mourns the death of American president Abraham Lincoln. Three metaphors-death, gun, and gravestone-are used to represent the poem’s mourning mood.
